With its stunning locale nestled within the scenic Laurel Highlands, the 1923 clubhouse remains timeless, providing intrigue, beauty, history, and distinction.

A celebration within itself, the remarkable clubhouse and rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania provide a serene backdrop for the A.W. Tillinghast designed golf course.  An inviting, relaxing, and friendly atmosphere flow throughout the clubhouse, presenting a subtle sentiment of yesteryear.
The Pool

The Pool

From the youngest to the oldest, members of all ages enjoy an Olympic size heated swimming pool, diving tank, and a children's shallow pool.  Events are ongoing including water aerobics, pool parties, a junior swim team, swimming lessons, and swim meets.  The bathhouse offers convenience while the pool stand cafe offers refreshments, cocktails, specialty sandwiches, and gourmet salads.

The Patio

Overlooking the pool, the patio offers a relaxing retreat during the summer months.  The Patio is the hub of summertime entertainment and recreation including pool parties, swimming competitions, Sunday Brunch, kid's camp, July 4 Fireworks, grilling, and much more.

The modern tennis complex provides new and experienced players the opportunity to improve their skills.  Some enjoy casual play while others enjoy junior or adult lessons, clinics, leagues, club championships and special event matches.  Pee wee, intermediate, and high-school clinics are also offered.

Once the formal dining room, The Sunnehanna Room presents a stunning panoramic view of the golf course. Filled with sunlight or moonlight, The Sunnehanna Room remains the most commonly requested dining room during holiday celebrations.

The Sun Room offers a warm, yet colonial atmosphere, most noted as a gathering place for charitable affairs and business meetings.  The Sun Room flanks the grand Ball Room, and often offers the accommodation of a cocktail, greeting, or lounge area for large events.

A profusion of historic photos line the walls of Sunnehanna Country Club displaying a celebrated collection of photos. The collection reveals golf's greatest icons who played the course at Sunnehanna at the dawn of their careers, including Phil Mickelson, Jay Sigel, Jack Nicklaus, and Tiger Woods.

The Ballroom

Timeless, stunning and elegant. The Ballroom is the perfect venue for a generous guest list with a formal theme. The Ballroom comfortably accommodates up to 300 guests. Stately and striking, an event celebrated in The Ballroom silently announces its significance.

The Colony Media Room

Perfect for a small breakfast, lunch or dinner meeting, the Colony Media Room is a top of the line media room with teleconferencing capabilities.

The Wine Room

The Wine Room

Elegant yet distinguished, The Wine Room features a natural stone fireplace, adding intimacy and a warm ambiance, which makes The Wine Room a dining favorite particularly during the winter months. The wine list boasts over 300 labels featuring premiere vineyards throughout the world.

The President's Room

The President's Room is located on the second floor of the clubhouse and is easily accessed by the elevator in the lower lobby.  Seating 100 people comfortably, it is perfect or any business meeting or banquet.
The Fitness Center

The Fitness Center

Fitness at its finest. The Fitness Center features a wide variety of weight training, cadiovascular, flexibility and stretching equipment. A wide variety of fitness classes are also available. All of our cardio machines feature a personal television and ipod console. The Fitness Center offers something for every fitness level.
The Red Room Health Bar

The Red Room Bar

Located beside The Fitness Center and Wine Room, the Red Room Bar is a perfect cocktail area for small Wine Room parties.
